Guanima Press Ltd was launched in 1992, in Nassau, Bahamas. We are dedicated to bringing good books by Bahamian authors or about The Bahamas to the notice of the wider reading public. Since 1992, Guanima Press Ltd has published works by such writers as: Dame Ivy Dumont (first woman Governor General of the Bahamas, 2001-2005); Michael Pintard, Senator, Bahamas Parliament; Cindy Armbrister, Teacher; Eugenie Lady Nuttall; Patricia Glinton-Meicholas (Bahamian Author, Cultural Critic).
